This story is so incredibly beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. The writing is so so so good! Maisie deserves all the love in the world. She endured so much throughout her young life. Her story is painful and I wanted to protect her so bad the entire time. I was disgusted with how many people abused her without a care in the world. Maisie stood up for herself and took her power back. She's a bad bitch and I'm on her side 1000%. I'm OBSESSED

They had me laughing and smiling like a fool at how cute they were. I liked how nervous they made each other. I loved getting the dual POV and getting to see how into each other they were. Mick is obsessed with Ava and I love it 🥰 Ava is a queen, not a princess, after what she deals with. As someone who lives with migraines, I felt her pain so much in this story. Ava is strong and successful, but she wants someone to love and take care of her, too. I feel you, Ava. I loved how Ava put her foot down and demanded the respect she deserved. She made Mick grovel

This book messed me up in the best way. I've always said that I like the childhood friends trope, but it's not my favorite, however, that's a lie. It's the trope that consistently makes me cry like a baby. When I read the blurb for this book, I knew Halle and Brandon were going to give us angst. The push and pull of their relationship was killing me. I cheered out loud when they finally knocked off their shenanigans. I did not expect the twist that happened. I knew what I wanted to happen at the end of this book, but didn't expect THAT to h

It had so much tension that hurt my heart in the best way. I love books that do that to me. Probably says something about me, but let's ignore that for now 😂 The dynamics of this trio were so good. I love all of them, but Cedric and Dot really pulled me in. You could see how much he loves her, and how much she loves him, but his barriers were preventing them from being happy together. The tension was so good, y'all. I love their dynamic and I'm glad they always made it clear how much they love each other. Desmond, Desmond, Desmond. This man is so sexy and I loved him. Him and Dot had an amazing dynamic from the beginning. I really liked their banter. The scene with the whale

I thought I knew where this book was going in the beginning, but I was wrong. Vienna is a total bad ass. She's smart, quick on her feet, driven by a purpose, and caring. I honestly thought she was the villain when I first started reading, but once I realized what was going on, I was on her side 100%. Her intelligence is truly amazing and my favorite thing about her. We rarely get books with the hero as the virgin/inexperienced one in the relationship. It's a trope I enjoy reading because I love to see the hero learn from the heroine. This book delivers on that end and Jackson and Autumn were so fun to read about. I loved seeing their relationship develop from a friendship and you could really feel their connection.
