The Glass Slipper picks up right where book two, Prince Charming, ended and we get to see how the dinner between Win and Ash plays out. My heart hurt in the beginning and I kept saying to myself, "It has to hurt before it gets better." Thankfully, these two work through things and we get the ending we've been waiting for since book one.

I have to say that this book was so easy for me to devour because of the different storylines and things happening. It took me about two hours to get through the first 60% of the book and I honestly didn't even realize I had gotten that far until I realized a movie I had put on for background noise had ended. I had to make myself stop reading so I could enjoy the last 40% in the morning. I said it before, but K Webster laced this trilogy with something because it was beyond addictive.

I know I sound repetitive in my reviews, but I LOVE Win and Ash. They only get better as a couple as the series goes on. I cannot get over their banter and how easily they fit in each other's lives. Even through their conflict in this book, you can feel their connection and how much they care for each other. I will say they each started to annoy me a little in this book with some of their thoughts because they felt stuck in them. For example, Win would not let it go that his former love from childhood broke his heart. I totally get that, but also the man is thirty seven and that happened twenty years ago. He obviously works through his issues and is honest with his feelings, but I wanted him to do it a little faster. Overall, I loved these two so much and chapter twenty five and the epilogue had me smiling so hard at how beautiful they are together.

This book is definitely spicy and full of kink, but I would say it's the least spiciest of the three. Sometimes it bothers me when series or trilogies that started out spicy don't bring it in their last book, but I didn't feel that way with this book. The spice was the perfect amount given the various plot lines going on and the couple was already well established, so heavy spice wouldn't have made sense.

In addition to wrapping up this trilogy, this book serves as a catalyst for spinoffs of other family members and characters into the Midnight Dynasty world. Sometimes I find these books to be challenging because there is often a lot of world building for the new series that gets in the way of the current series. I didn't feel that way at all and this book honestly made me want more of the Constantine's and Morelli's. I definitely have plans to read all of the Midnight Dynasty world books, so stay tuned!

Betraying the most powerful man in New York wasn't something I ever envisioned when I first started playing games with Winston Constantine.

But he's engaged in far more dangerous games than ours, and his enemies are out for blood.

Winston has my heart, the Morellis have incriminating photos, and I'm left with nothing except three stepbrothers who want to hurt me and a future in doubt. I knew Winston wouldn't be my prince charming, but that didn't stop me from falling for him.

After all, the slippers fit, and I let myself believe I'd be dancing with Winston forever.

Until too much truth comes to light.

Until I realize instead of ruling the board, I was just a pawn.

In the end, I have only one question. When his game with me is over, will I be able to pretend as if the glass slipper wasn't a perfect a fit?
