I loved this book, but I was also so frustrated with it at the same time. This story is written beautifully and a highlight for me is Ellie. She went through something no one should have to experience, then had the loves of her life turn their backs on her at the same time. Ellie was devastated, but she had something amazing happen to her at the same time. She regrouped, went to therapy, and came back to better her life. Even through all of the bullying, Ellie never backed down. She was so strong and stood up for herself. My heart broke for her in chapter 27 because you could feel everything she had been through exploding all at once. Thankfully, she had a support system that was with her through it all.

Theo is the superior love interest. From the beginning, Theo was a gem. He was pulled to Ellie when he saw her at the park and when he talked to her, he was a goner. I love how much he respected what she wanted to do every step of the way. He took his cues from her and didn't pressure her. He is the most supportive partner and never misses a chance to tell Ellie how wonderful, beautiful, smart, caring, and truly amazing she is. I loved how much he told her he didn't deserve her, but he planned to show her every day how much she is his world (they are both so deserving of each other). The way that he loves her is truly beautiful and you can tell that he will be happy no matter what as long as he gets to love her.

I know this is a bully romance and I expected it to be bad,  however, the bullies in this story are the absolute worst! The funny thing is, I've read worst bullies than Brody, Rain, Chase, and Jax, but their relationship history is what makes them the worst in my opinion. I don't want to give any spoilers away, but the fact that the four of them just threw away a multiple year long relationship without even asking questions blew my mind. How is Ellie the love of your life but you assume the worst of her??? She never gave them reason to think she was a liar, yet they just went with what Brody said.

Speaking of Brody, I would never speak to him again. Yes, the others are responsible for their actions, but he is the catalyst and they gave him so many concessions because of his home life. Those four just infuriated me so much. I hated them the entire time and I could care less about them. It's going to take a lot for me to care and even more to prove they are worthy of being in Ellie's harem.

I've never read a reverse harem with a woman in the harem, so this was a first for me. We don't get much of Rain in this story, so I look forward to seeing more of her in the next book. There are a lot of different dynamics within the harem, which I enjoy. I've also never read one where someone is added to an established harem (I assume that will happen in this series), so I'm interested to see how that will work. This isn't super spicy, but I will say the office scene with Theo and Ellie was HOT πŸ₯΅ I'm excited for book two and can't wait to see where the story goes from here!

Shhh...I have a secret, or two. They don't know what really happened. They didn't ask, so I didn't explain.

Four years ago, my whole life changed in one night.

I lost the loves of my life, and I suffered through something no one ever should.

Returning to my hometown with a little piece of them, I'm not surprised when they aren't thrilled to see me again.

I came back to Silver Valley University to better my future. To take back the education I should have had before.

But they are here, The Silver Knights.

Brody, Jax and Chase, the cocky football jocks and Lady Rain, the head cheerleader.

They want me gone, still holding something against me that they never fully understood. And now they're willing to do anything to make me leave.

Thankfully my sexy neighbor is my saving grace in the hell they make for me.

I won't explain that night to them. I shouldn't have to.

If they think I'll just bow down like everyone else does, they have another thing coming.

Secrets eventually surface, bringing the truth to light.

Will the Knights take a knee when all is revealed?

Or is it too little too late?

Silver Valley University is a college bully Reverse Harem. This book may have some darker themes. Please be advised that sexual assault is a big topic in this story. Graphic sex. Swearing. Age. Gap.
