MINI REVIEW: Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert

Mini Review π‘©π’†π’„π’π’Žπ’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒔 π’˜π’Šπ’π’ 𝒔𝒆𝒕 π’Žπ’† 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆. Release date: June 7th, 2022 (Preorder now and add to your TBR lists!) Y'all this book is going to be so good, I just know it! The preview was a great teaser, but I was bummed when it ended because I wanted more. Katee does a great job of setting the scene so you are sucked into the story right away. By the end of chapter one, I was hooked and ready to see what happens next.  This story is already giving me Learn My Lesson vibes with the relationship. That was one of my top 3 stories from Katee's Wicked Villains series. I'm totally here for those vibes because that story was messy in the best way, but pulled at my heart strings, too. Something tells me we are about to go on a similar adventure with this trio. ARC REVIEW: #FollowMe for Murder by Sarah E. Burr

Book Review Rating:  ⭐⭐⭐ Spice:  There really isn't any Tropes:  Social media influencer, murder mystery Series:  Trending Topic Mysteries #1  *Check triggers before reading* This one hurts because I was excited for this and found the story intriguing. For me, it fell flat and I really only kept reading because I was expecting it to pick up. The biggest issue for me was there was way too much focus on the social media/PR/branding side of things. It almost felt like in fantasy novels when there is so much world building and not a lot of story growth. I get that the social media information was important, but there was a lot that was unnecessary to the story. The murder itself intrigued me, but I figured out who it was pretty much from the jump. Now that's probably because I've watched a lot of Law and Order: SVU so I figured out who did it before you truly find out in the story.
