Note to self: Men using the phrase "little mouse" is my new favorite thing π₯΅π
I saw this book mentioned on tiktok and immediately downloaded it. I enjoyed this book immensely. Nate and Evie are a perfect match. I loved watching them explore their relationship dynamic, as well as how they supported each other. They cared so much about how the other felt and I love them.
Nate is perfection and I can't get over him. Him in spicy scenes π The support he gave her was perfect and I loved that he never made Evie feel bad about herself. When he called her little mouse π₯΅π₯°
The spice in this book was hot hot hot. Evie and Nate are off the charts together. The scenes in this book are open door and what I call "heavy spice" (heavy on description). I love heavy spice and it's done really well in this book. The reason I gave it a 4.5 is because the spicy scenes are concentrated to part of the book, but I wish there were more scenes throughout.
Another reason I gave this book 4.5 stars was because I wanted more. It felt like it needed to be longer with so much going on. If it had been longer and with more spicy scenes, it would've been 5 stars for me.
