I found myself feeling for him and really rooted for him. Sophia and Macalister are truly a perfect match and I loved everything about them together. Not only are they hot together, but they have similar business minds and challenge each other in great ways. They make total sense as a couple and I want more of them. I think the true gem of this story is Sophia. I LOVE her. She is the perfect heroine and was so so so good in this story. She stood her ground with Macalister where it mattered and stood up for herself. I

I still love this book and had all the feels when I got to the end. The Deception is the final book of Royce and Marist's story. Book 4 and 5 are about Royce's father and brother. In my opinion, this was a perfect end to their story and a great beginning for Macalister's story. Outside of that, I pers

For me, the cliffhanger from book one didn't upset me as much as others because I knew Royce had to be lying (would've been awkward if I was wrong lol). I knew their connection was real and it was a power move. I will say the cliffhanger at the end of this book had me scrambling to read book three. Nikki Sloane knew what she was doing with that ending πŸ‘€ In this book, I felt the tension with Royce and Marist. I'm a sucker for tension and moments that make your heart literally ache. The scene in the maze with the rain was perfect heartache. I just loved them in this book. I want to talk about

I read the Nashville Neighborhood series by Nikki (I love that series 😍) and wanted more from her. The Initiation was free, so I got it and devoured the book. I immediately bought all the other books. Royce and Marist had a grip on me from the beginning. I know the popular opinion is Macalister over Royce, but I wholeheartedly disagree. I usually go for the man that's the cold and calculated villain (t

This was my second book by Jade West. I read Sugar Daddies first in May 2021 and then discovered this book in June 2021. This book solidified my love for her as an author and one of the reasons I've read quite a few of her books. This is one of my favorite books (on BookBub it's listed in my top three) and I revisit it multiple times every

I loved it, but I recognize it's not for everyone.* There's a reason I don't read incomplete duets or series because then I'm sad when I can't read the next book. I went against my better judgment with this book and I have no regrets (okay I have some because I hate waiting for book two) because I loved this story. I just know that book
