Crowned picks up where book one ended and Lilia is enjoying her life post the pageant. However, her past catches up with her and she finds herself fighting for her life yet again. This story is filled with plot twists, romance, great spice, and backstories that will pull at your heartstrings.
I loved this book and I couldn't be more obsessed with this duet. Lilia is my favorite part of this duet. She outsmarts all the men in this book every chance she gets, she's sarcastic, witty, and strong. Also, she makes the men grovel and I'll always love a heroine that knows her worth.
Listen, these men are bad people and we shouldn't even remotely like them. BUT, I couldn't help but fall so deeply in love with them. Did they do horrible things? Yes. But are they somehow sweet, loving, caring, and wonderful? Also yes. Lilith did such a great job of getting me to love them that there were multiple times I was like, "Well, what they did wasn't really THAT bad." π€¦π»♀️π
The spice was really good in this book, especially the group scenes. I loveeee DVP and breeding, so this really hit for me. Kirill is filthy and we love filthy men π₯΅π
Thank you to Lilith and Give Me Books for the ARC!
Description:
A twisted game gone too far. A woman on the run. Three men who won’t stop hunting.
The pageant has ended, but for us, the game has only just begun.
Konstantin, Elyah, and Kirill made my life a living hell during the pageant, and now I’m going to return the favor.
They want me and the secret I’m carrying, but they’ll have to prove they’re worthy before I let them call me their queen. It won’t be easy when their pasts come back to haunt us. Pasts that are soaked in blood.
The chase is on, and this time, the prize is more precious than diamonds.
The prize is my heart.
Author’s note: Crowned (Pageant, 2) is the final book in a mafia reverse harem duet. The heroes only have hearts, eyes, and dicks for the heroine. It contains dark themes, violence, and a Why Choose romance with ruthlessly possessive men. The story is potentially triggering, so please read responsibly.
