I read it last week and I haven't stopped thinking about it. I was completely sucked in the whole time and couldn't put it down. Nikki really outdid herself with this one. The overarching story is engaging, keeps you on your toes, and and has you constantly flipping the page to see what will happen next. I love Easter eggs in retellings and this story is riddled with them. Nikki is putting her own spin on this world and I'm absolutely loving it. Winnie is my girl and I adore her. She comes into her own this book and isn't afraid to get her men in line.

It's heartbreaking, but beautiful at the same time. This one will stay with me forever. Cora and Dean are absolutely beautiful together. They "hate" each other until a traumatic experience bonds them together. Through this experience, they realize that the line between love and hate is very thin. I thought Ann did a great job of creating two men who are in tune with their emotions and not afraid to feel them. Both of them weren't afraid to cry and share how they felt, which is something we need more of in the real world.
