In the wake of her kidnapping and return, Raven is a mess. She's a ball of chaos and turmoil. She lashes out a lot and cannot control her rage. My girl did not give Caelian a single moment of peace this entire book. He's supposed to be the psychopathic serial killer, yet he's more in control than she is. I did laugh quite a few times at his internal thoughts of knocking her out just to get some peace π I do absolutely adore these two. I love how they annoy each other, but are equally as obsessed with one another.
I'm completely in love with Caelian. He's so possessive of Raven and I love it. He really cares about her and she's 100% his person. He feels so much for her, which was sweet to see since he usually feels nothing but with her he feels everything π₯Ί
The last few chapters had me tearing up. The cliffhanger is wild and has me on edge. Thank God book 3 is out soon!
I did love Aria and the other Morelli. Before they met in book 1, I just had a feeling they were going to be a thing. Glad I was right and I hope we get more π
Thank you to AR Breck and Peachy Keen for the ARC!

Confined into a dark, abandoned basement with nothing but the clothes on my back.
There's no escaping obsession, especially one honed by a serial killer who's bound and determined to call me his.
Forever.
Every day grows more dire with death circulating my existence.
I believe all hope is lost until I'm saved by my own monster, the man who enslaves my soul.
His darkness is even more dangerous than my abductor's, his obsession even more deadly.
But my life is still at risk, and I find myself barely able to hold on to my sanity as danger once again looms in the distance, the walls closing in on me at every turn.
The mania I've attempted to keep hidden after all these years is cracking, shards of insanity splitting from my chest and falling to dust at my feet.
I have no choice but to stalk through the madness and hope I make it out alive.
