Willow is out with a friend when she's approached by Jagger. He's tall, dark, handsome, and solely focused on her. They spend the night dancing and drinking together. When they step outside for air, Willow starts to feel unwell and she passes out. She wakes up in a strange place, locked up, and she realizes Jagger drugged and kidnapped her. He tells Willow her father, who she thought was dead, is alive and in hiding. Jagger and his friends took her to smoke out her dad so they can get some information from him.

Willow is pissed that she was taken and she's not afraid to let Jagger know just how she feels. Jagger finds Willows absolutely infuriating, but the longer he's around her, the more he feels a pull to her. The line between hate and like becomes blurred the more they're pulled into things and sparks fly.

This book took me on a journey and I'm still trying to process all my thoughts. The premise was interesting to me and I was trying to figure out what was happening with the larger plot. I knew when Willow woke up at Jagger's house that these two were going to be one of those couples that makes you think, and they lived up to that initial assumption. I like them together, but they're so toxic at the same time that they were making me question if they could work things out. Their relationship is definitely messy and it's only going to get messier after that cliffhanger.

I'm so glad the next book is out soon because that cliffhanger made my heart hurt. I'm so curious how the rest of this story is going to go!
