Christina works for Bill, who is an asshole, and she desperately needs a day off for something personal. Bill says sure, but only if she'll bend over the table for him. Obviously she slaps him and storms out for being an awful person right? Wrong. She agrees and let's just say things get spicy right in chapter one. Christina assumes this is a one time thing, but Bill comes to her with a proposition that she just can't say no to. These two break every HR rule imaginable and things begin to change between these two.
I know I shouldn't, but I love Bill. Yes, he's in a position of power and this would be problematic in the real world, but I just couldn't help but love him. I honestly didn't get the asshole vibes that Christina kept referring to. I think having his perspective is the reason why I didn't get those vibes because we got insight on how he's really felt about Christina. The way he viewed her was sweet and he just needed to use his words.
I would honestly love more of them. The epilogue didn't give me enough insight into their life once the book wrapped up. Not sure what that would look like for another book, but I really would just love to see them as a couple.

Bill Marshall might as well have been the Devil.
Christina Lee Dodd needs Friday off work. Needs. She's up to her eyeballs in problems.
One of those problems is her boss, Bill Marshall.
And Bill Marshall is an a**hole.
The offer he makes is textbook inappropriate. An HR nightmare.
But is it wrong for her to accept?
Is it wrong for her to like it?
Bass-Ackwards is a filthy wrong-way romance where two human beings make more mistakes than you can shake a stick at.
